Capabilities & Services – “Service Is Our Strength”
Services
Along with a wide range of manufacturing capabilities, we are dedicated to giving our customers high-quality craftsmanship, custom design engineering, precise quality control and outstanding customer service.
Metal stampings are produced on modern, servo-driven, coil fed equipment utilizing various types of tooling designed specifically for your parts and required quantities. Whether it’s a Progressive, Deep Drawn, Short Run, in-die tapping, or Compound die, Fine Line can handle your metal stamping needs from part and die design assistance to production.
Fine Line Production has multiple ABB Robotic welders with turntable multi-station fixtures suitable for welding two-dimensional and three-dimensional parts through a wide working envelope.
Fine Line specializes in laser cutting along with additional services such as forming and welding. With a table size of 48″ x 96″, materials can be cut up to the following thicknesses: steel up to 1/2″, stainless steel up to 1/4″ and aluminum up to 3/16″. Laser cutting produces precise cuts with sharp edge definition in virtually any shape. Our automated material handling system utilizes a six shelf material tower allowing our laser to run various materials and thickness unattended at night and on weekends.
Assemblies are a natural fit for Fine Line Production, with multiple services from laser cutting to stamping for producing individual parts and welding, spot welding, hardware insertion and mechanical fastening methods are utilized to bring the components together. Powder coating, special packaging and shipping options are also available for turnkey delivery. Whether it’s a low volume fabrication or thousands of assemblies Fine Line can get the job done.
One notable capability of Fine Line Production is the ability to reduce cost through value engineering which includes design for manufacturability. Value engineering takes into consideration all aspects of the product and it’s application including but not limited to material selection and utilization, structural requirements, life cycle, function, and surrounding components.
Fine Line Production started with a strong foundation of tool and die experience. We build progressive, blanking, compound, short run, deep draw, and form dies along with fixtures and special tools. Dies are designed and built in-house to meet our customer’s product specifications utilizing 3D CAD software and CNC equipment.
Fine Line Production’s tube bender is equipped with a Vector 1 measuring machine (VMM) which is very important for achieving consistency in production due to material variations in hardness and spring-back from different bundles of tubing and pipe.
