Fine Line Production was established in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1985 by Richard Smith as a tool and die shop. Over the years our customers led the company into additional metal fabrication services.​

 

Fine Line possesses a rich heritage of over 30 years of manufacturing excellence. Along with a wide range of metal fabrication capabilities, we are dedicated to giving our customers outstanding customer service.

We provide made-to-order products per customer specifications. Our 64,000 square foot facility is made up of production floor, tool and die shop, warehouse, and administrative offices.

 

As a supplier to OEMs in various industries we understand the daily demands of metal fabrication and we have a proven track record of helping customers with sales/production efforts by reducing lead times and offering a quality, competitive product.

Metal stampings are produced on modern, servo-driven, coil fed equipment utilizing various types of tooling designed specifically for your parts and required quantities. Whether it’s a Progressive, Deep Drawn, Short Run or Compound die, Fine Line can handle your metal stamping needs from part and die design assistance to production.

Assemblies are a natural fit for Fine Line Production, with multiple services from laser cutting to stamping for producing individual parts and welding, spot welding, hardware insertion and mechanical fastening methods are utilized to bring the components together. Powder coating, special packaging and shipping options are also available for turnkey delivery.

One notable capability of Fine Line Production is the ability to reduce cost through value engineering which includes design for manufacturability. Value engineering takes into consideration all aspects of the product and it’s application including but not limited to material selection and utilization, structural requirements, life cycle, function, and surrounding components.

DALLAS LASER CUTTING

Fine Line Production specializes in laser cutting along with additional services such as forming and welding. With a table size of 48″ x 96″, materials can be cut up to the following thicknesses: steel up to 1/2″, stainless steel up to 1/4″ and aluminum up to 3/16″. Laser cutting produces precise cuts with sharp edge definition in virtually any shape.

DALLA TUBE BENDING

Fine Line Production’s tube bender is equipped with a Vector 1 measuring machine (VMM) which is very important for achieving consistency in production due to material variations in hardness and spring-back from different bundles of tubing and pipe.

Fine Line Production has multiple ABB Robotic welders with turntable multi-station fixtures suitable for welding two-dimensional and three-dimensional parts through a wide working envelope.

Fine Line Production designs and builds stamping dies to meet our customer’s product specifications. Our company originally started with Tool and Die work and  it is at the heart of everything we do. Dies are designed and built in-house utilizing 3D CAD software and modern CNC equipment. We build progressive, blanking, compound, short run, deep draw, and form dies along with fixtures and special tools.

Powder coating is a dry finishing process that is used on a wide array of products. Powder coating provides a high-quality, durable finish, allowing for maximized production, improved efficiencies, and simplified environmental compliance.  Used as functional (protective) and decorative finishes, powder coatings are available in an almost limitless range of colors and textures, and our technological advancements have resulted in excellent performance properties.
